Lukoil cuts hydrocarbon output 1% to 2.29 mln boe/day, oil refining 15.4% to 26.4 mln tonnes in H1 2024
MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - Lukoil trimmed hydrocarbon production 1% year-on-year to 2.289 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in H1 2024, the company said.
The company also reduced oil output 1% year-on-year to 1.728 million barrels per day owing to the external restrictions. Gas production dipped 0.6% year-on-year to 17.4 billion cubic meters because of repair work at Russian projects, as well as a decline in production at projects abroad.
Refining of crude oil at proprietary refineries dropped to 26.4 million tonnes from 31.2 million tonnes in H1 2023 owing to selling the ISAB plant in Italy and repairs at enterprises in Russia. The Russian refineries produced 74% of the overall refining volumes.
