Rosseti Siberia to invest 32 bln rubles in Kuzbass' power grids over 10 years
KEMEROVO. Sept 27 (Interfax) - The Kemerovo Region authorities have signed a long-term regulatory agreement with PJSC Rosseti Siberia , the power company said.
The agreement envisages overall investments of 32 billion rubles in the integrated power grid over 10 years.
"The agreement will allow improving the reliability of power supplies to Kuzbass consumers in the most vulnerable places, updating electric power networks and equipment with the highest wear, as well as reducing accidents and the duration of emergency shutdowns," the press service said.
There are plans to reconstruct 170 substations and 1,700 km of power transmission lines of 6 kV and 10 kV, as well as upgrade special equipment and fixed production assets that have been in operation for more than 50 years as part of the regulatory agreement over the 10 years.
