Ukraine quits CIS agreement on cooperation in hydrometeorology

MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - The government has approved Ukraine's withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) agreement on cooperation in hydrometeorology, Ukrainian media said.

The decision to quit the agreement was taken at the government's meeting on Thursday, government representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk said on his Telegram channel.

Thus, Ukraine has terminated its participation in the CIS agreement on cooperation in hydrometeorology, signed in Moscow on February 8, 1992, and in the protocols to this document.
