Russian airlines slash operating losses 75.6% to 8.6 bln rubles H1 2024 - AEVT

MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Russian airlines slashed operating losses 75.6% year-on-year to 8.6 billion rubles in the first half of 2024, the Association of Air Transport Operators (AEVT) said in materials.

AEVT data indicate that domestic carriers increased total revenue 27% year-on-year to 859.9 billion rubles in the period, and total expenses rose 21.5% year-on-year to 868.5 billion rubles.
