New Zealand announces new sanctions against Russia, Belarus - Foreign Ministry

WASHINGTON. Sept 24 (Interfax) - New Zealand's Foreign Minister Winston Peters has announced further sanctions against Russia and Belarus over the situation in Ukraine.

"These new sanctions target five individuals and six entities," Peters said in a statement published by the country's Foreign Ministry.

Since March 2022, New Zealand has imposed sanctions on more than 1,700 individuals and entities, along with a range of trade measures against Russia.
