Putin submits Russian-S. Ossetian military-technical cooperation agreement to State Duma for ratification

MOSCOW. Sept 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted the Russian-South Ossetian military-technical cooperation agreement to the State Duma for ratification.

The bill was published in the State Duma's legislative database on Thursday.

The agreement was signed in Tskhinval on August 23, 2023. It aims to deepen military-technical cooperation for bolstering defense capabilities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, the Russian government said in its conclusion.

The adoption of the federal bill on the agreement's ratification does not require additional budget expenditures, the accompanying document said, according to the conclusion.
