Agro output in CIS rises 2.5% in H1 2025, Belarus leads growth
MINSK. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Agricultural production in the CIS countries increased 2.5% year-on-year in the first half of 2024, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee said.
The indicator does not account for data on Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
Belarus demonstrated the highest growth in agricultural output at 10.2% in the period, and then Tajikistan at 9.6%, followed by Moldova at 5.5%, Armenia at 4.0%, Uzbekistan at 3.8%, Kazakhstan at 3.5%, Kyrgyzstan at 3.3%, Russia at 0.9%, and Azerbaijan at 0.3%.
