Russian Central Bank raises forecast for growth in household funds in banks to 16%-21% in 2024 from 14%-19% previously

MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia has raised its forecast for growth in household funds in bank accounts to 16%-21% in 2024 from 14%-19% previously, the CBR said in an analytical review.

The CBR has retained its outlook for growth in the funds of individuals at 9%-14% in 2025.

The CBR has also retained its estimate for growth in the funds of legal entities at 7%-12% in 2024.

However, the CBR has reduced its forecast range for growth in the funds of legal entities in 2025 by 1 percentage point to 6%-11% owing to tax reform.
