Russia in talks with Cuba on joint filmmaking

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russia and Cuba are engaged in talks on cooperation in filmmaking, Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova said.

"Various aspects of Russian-Cuban cooperation, including cinema, have been discussed with Cuban Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso Grau. [...] Talks are underway with Cuba on creating joint motion pictures," Lyubimova said on Telegram after talks held at the tenth St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum on Friday.

In addition, Cuba will host the Moscow Film Week on September 19-22, she said. In November, the country plans to hold Russian Spiritual Culture Days.

The Russian minister also proposed considering exchange tours with the participation of the Cuban National Ballet.
