Ruble unchanged against yuan on Central Bank decision to hike key rate to 19%
MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The ruble was unchanged against the yuan on the Moscow Exchange immediately following the Central Bank of Russia's decision to raise the key rate 100 basis points to 19% per annum as the market had already priced this in.
The yuan was trading at 12.7105 rubles/CNY 1 by 1:31 p.m., a minute after the decision was announced, which is only 0.05 kopecks higher than at 1:29 p.m.
