Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry proposes prolonging quota on exporting fertilizer until May 31, 2025
MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry has proposed prolonging the quota on exporting nitrogen-based and compound fertilizer from December 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.
The government's corresponding draft resolution as prepared by the ministry has been posted at the portal regulation.gov.ru.
The draft resolution indicates that the export quota for the period would total 19.2 million tonnes, including nitrogen-based fertilizer totaling 11.2 million tonnes, of which ammonium nitrate would be 3.14 million tonnes, as well as compound fertilizer totaling 8 million tonnes.
