Kazakhstan's int'l reserves rise 2.2% to $105.3 mln in Aug - National Bank
ALMATY. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's gross international reserves, which include the National Bank's gold and foreign exchange reserves and the assets of the National Fund, rose 2.2% during August and 11.2% in January-August to $105.241 billion, the National Bank said, quoting preliminary data.
The assets of the National Fund totaled $62.581 billion, up 2.4% from the previous month.
The National Bank's gross international reserves grew 1.9% during August to $42.66 billion and its net international reserves 2% to $40.523 billion.
Currency assets amounted to $19.21 billion, increasing by 1.5% over the month.
Gold assets rose 2.2% to$23.447 billion.
