Export revenue from Russian agricultural exports should exceed $55 bln by 2030 - Dep PM Patrushev
MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Export revenue from Russian agricultural exports should exceed $55 billion by 2030, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said at a meeting of the Agriculture Ministry collegium.
"In keeping with the task set by the Russian president [to boost agricultural exports 50% by 2030 compared to 2021], export revenue by 2030 should amount to $55 billion," Patrushev said.
He said that with this in mind, the Agriculture Ministry was analyzing and optimizing the system of support for exporters.
The Federal Customs Service has said Russian agricultural exports fell 4.6% year-on-year to $23.9 billion in January-July and imports fell 0.8% to $21.1 billion, from $21.2 billion a year previously.
Exports rose to $43.5 billion in 2023 from $41.3 billion in 2022, while imports fell to $35.1 billion from $35.8 billion.
