Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin today see eye to eye on the global events and understand the entire degree of the threats, which are now, unfortunately, coming, in particular from the United States," Volfovich said on ONT television on Sunday.
"And the security concept of the Union State reflects our vision, our attitude and our views on the policies that the United States of America, the countries of the European Union and the NATO states are pursuing on our countries. Seeing their aggressive attitude towards our states, all these things are also taken into account and stated in the security concept of the Union State," Volfovich said.
"The current document was issued in 1999. A lot of things changed over 25 years. Totally different challenges risks and threats have emerged in the security sphere. Therefore, of course, the current document needs to be revised," he said.
