Russia invested 2.75 bln yuan of NWF money in corporate bonds in Aug - MinFin

MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Russia invested 2.75 billion yuan of National Wealth Fund (NWF) resources in bonds in August, the Finance Ministry reported.

The ministry did not specify whose bonds these were, saying only that they were "securities of other Russian issuers."

Balances on NWF accounts in yuan decreased by this amount, 2.75 billion yuan, in August, from 226.533 billion to 223.783 billion yuan.

In addition, 12.5 billion rubles were invested in securities of other Russian issuers in August.

The Finance Ministry disclosed information about investments in the yuan-denominated bonds of Russian issuers for the first time a month ago, saying 3 billion yuan had been invested in these bonds.
