Kumroch mine in Russia's Kamchatka territory to pour first gold before 2028, capex over 30 bln rubles
VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 4 (Interfax) - A mine at the Kumroch hardrock gold deposit in Russia's Kamchatka territory should pour its first gold before 2028, Alexander Patlach, Deputy General Director of GORA Kumroch (Bystrinskaya Mining Company, project operator), told Interfax on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
The current project capex estimate is more than 30 billion rubles.
GORA Kumroch signed a supplementary agreement with the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation in the framework of the Advanced Special Economic Zone, as well as with the Russian Economic Development Ministry and Kamchatka Territory Economic Development Ministry within the Investment Protection & Promotion Agreement framework.
The Kumroch deposit contains 49 tonnes of gold according to the State Reserves Committee.
