Total gas output at RusGasAlliance's Semakovskoye field tops 13 bcm
SALEKHARD. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Cumulative gas production at the Semakovskoye gas field exceeded 13 billion cubic meters as of August 31, RusGasAlliance LLC (RGA), the joint venture between Gazprom and RusGazDobycha (RGD) developing the field, said.
"Gross gas production corresponds to targets," RGA said. The company reported at the beginning of April that total output at the field, which went into operation in December 2022, had reached 10 bcm.
As part of the implementation of the second phase of the field's development, the company has worked out the design documentation for expanding gas well clusters and the gas treatment plant, and approval has been received from state expert review office Glavgosexpertiza.
The company has also drilled and completed six gas production wells for the second phase, including the final well at the first cluster (No. 1114) in August. Construction of production wells at the first cluster has therefore been completed.
In the first phase of field infrastructure development, the company built 19 production wells, a gas treatment plant with annual capacity for 7.5 bcm, a 32 MW booster pump station, an 18 MW power plant and a 122 km pipeline to Russia's unified gas supply system. Innovative technologies were used in the construction of the wells.
