Tajikistan adopts national civil aviation safety program for 2025-2030

DUSHANBE. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Tajikistan's national civil aviation safety program for 2025-2030 was adopted at a government meeting chaired by the country's President Emomali Rahmon, the presidential press service said.

"The aim of the program is to guarantee the safety of passengers, flight and cabin crews and ground personnel, to protect airports' facilities and infrastructure, and ensure the stable efficiency of international civil aircraft flights in the Republic of Tajikistan," it said.

The program has been developed in line with international standards and recommendations contained in Annex 17 to the International Civil Aviation Convention, the Convention on Offenses and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft, the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, and the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Civil Aviation.
