JYSK opens new store in Krivoi Rog, its 99th in Ukraine
MOSCOW. Aug 30 (Interfax) - The JYSK international retail chain has opened a new store in Ukraine's Krivoi Rog, the company said in a press release.
"The new JYSK store in Krivoi Rog is located in a renovated shopping mall, Terra. This is the third [JYSK] store in the city, the 99th in Ukraine and one of the 29 stores JYSK planned to open in August 2024 in Europe," the company's Country Director in Ukraine Yevgeny Ivanitsa was quoted by the press release as saying.
The new store's shopping floor space is 1,034 square meters, the warehouse is 307 sq m, and the offices are 41.05 sq m. Additional furniture displays have also been placed in front of the store and outside the shopping mall.
JYSK's 99 stores in Ukraine have a staff of over 800 people. There is also an online store, jysk.ua.
JYSK is part of the family Lars Larsen Group with over 3,400 stores in 48 countries. JYSK's revenue totaled 5.2 billion euros in the 2022-2023 financial year.
