Yandex.Market appoints new COO

MOSCOW. Aug 29 (Interfax) - Yandex.Market has appointed Ivan Zadokhin, previously head of the division overseeing warehouse logistics and delivery operational management, as its new COO, the company's press service told Interfax.

Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) data indicate that Zadokhin has been CEO of Market.Operations LLC, subsidiary of Yandex LLC , since August 28, having replaced Alexander Kostin.

The company said that Kostin, previously COO of the marketplace, has decided to continue his career beyond Yandex.

Yandex LLC decided in mid-August this year to reorganize, with Yandex Market spinning off into a separate company.

Yandex Market developed as a separate legal entity from 2016 to 2021, with the company partially being a joint venture between Yandex and Sberbank . The actual JV was registered in the Netherlands as Yandex.Market B.V. Yandex decided to merge with the LLC after spinning off the JV assets with Sberbank.
