Ukrainian govt forms working group to support EU accession talks

MOSCOW. Aug 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has set up an interagency working group to support the negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union and to adapt Ukrainian legislation to EU laws.

The decision on forming the group was adopted at a government meeting on Tuesday, Ukrainian media cited the government's special representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk as saying.

The decision endorsed the provision on the interagency working group and its composition, as well as set up groups in charge of formulating Kiev's positions during the talks with the EU on concluding the accession agreement with regard to the corresponding sections of the negotiating framework and approved these groups' composition.
