Russia preparing proposals for BRICS countries on creating industrial clusters - chamber of commerce

NOVOSIBIRSK. Aug 28 (Interfax) - The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is preparing proposals for BRICS countries on creating joint industrial clusters, RCCI vice president Dmitry Kurochkin said on Wednesday at the Technoprom 2024 forum in Novosibirsk.

"Considering that the BRICS summit is taking place in Kazan this autumn, you know, the country's president will participate. We are also preparing a proposal, at least for the preparatory work, so that we create industrial clusters with the BRICS countries," Kurochkin said.

Kurochkin also said that RCCI president Sergei Katyrin would present the package of proposals. Katyrin has headed the Russian group to the BRICS business council for more than 10 years, and he currently heads the entire business council of the intergovernmental association given that Russia currently chairs BRICS.
