Caspian Pipeline Consortium boosts oil shipments 3.1% YoY to 33.2 mln tonnes in H1 2024
MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) shipped 33.21 million tonnes of oil in the first half of 2024, Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas (KMG), a CPC shareholder, said in an operating report.
As reported, the CPC shipped 32.2 million tonnes of oil in the first half of 2023, implying a rise in shipments of 3.1% year-on-year.
KMG accounted for 6.89 million tonnes of the overall volume of oil transported via the CPC in January-June.
KMG also said that the tariff for oil shipping via the CPC system remained at $36 per tonne.
