Ukrainian agricultural holding MHP completes purchase of logistics company KTL Ukraine

MOSCOW. Aug 22 (Interfax) - The agricultural holding MHP, Ukraine's largest chicken meat producer, has completed the acquisition of KTL Ukraine, a Ukrainian representative office of the logistics corporation KK & Sons Group, Ukrainian media reported, citing KTL Ukraine co-owner Sergei Kochergin.

"We managed to create a powerful company, which the country's leading agricultural holding company wanted to acquire," Kochergin wrote on social media.

The parties have worked on the agreement for about ten months, he said.

In April 2024, the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee gave permission to MHP SE (Cyprus) for the transaction with KK & Sons Group Ltd. (UK), and it took place in July.

For the agricultural holding, KTL Ukraine's acquisition became an investment to expand the MHP logistics business.

KK & Sons Group is a private company with limited liability. It has a network of representative offices in China (KTL China), Netherlands and Belgium (KTL Benelux), the United Kingdom (KTL Europe), Turkey (KTL Turkey), Vietnam (KTL Vietnam), the United States (KTL USA), Australia (KTL Australia). KTL Ukraine represents its interests in Ukraine.

KTL Ukraine specializes in providing logistics services: sea container transportation, air cargo shipment, road and rail transportation, brokerage services, organization of warehousing and transshipment of goods, chartering of different types of vessels. The beneficiaries of the company are businessmen Andrei Kuzmin, Igor Khokhlov and Sergei Kochergin.

MHP Agroholding is the largest chicken producer in Ukraine. It is also engaged in production of cereals, sunflower oil, meat processing products. MHP's holding company is MHP SE. Ukrainian businessman Yury Kosyuk is a founder, majority shareholder and head of the Management Board of MHP.
