All independent members quit Ozon board
MOSCOW. Aug 16 (Interfax) - All independent directors have left the board of directors of Ozon , the Russian marketplace said in a press release.
The directors in question are Nilesh Lakhani, Charles Ryan, Lydia Jett and Peter Sirota.
In addition, in a planned rotation, representatives of Vostok Investments Elena Ivashentseva and Dmitry Kamensky left the board.
Ozon is not currently disclosing full board membership but the approved number of directors is nine.
"We are looking at candidates for the positions of independent directors and will announce their appointments in due course," Ozon said.
Kirill Lykov and Alexander Rogovoi joined the Ozon board on August 14 in place of Ivashentseva and Kamensky.
Lykov is deputy CEO for economics and finance at PJSC T Plus . Rogovoi previously worked at Rostelecom as executive vice president.
As of the end of January 2024, in addition to Ivashentseva, Kamensky and four independent directors, the board included CEO of AFK Sistema Tagir Sitdekov, managing partner of AFK Alexey Katkov, and CFO of Ozon Igor Gerasimov.
Co-owners of Ozon are AFK Sistema with a 31.76% stake, and Vostok Investments, which has 28%. The remaining shares are in free float.
