Roscosmos, NASA in contact regarding U.S. Starliner at ISS - corporation head

SOLNECHNOGORSK, Moscow region. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Roscosmos and NASA are in contact regarding the U.S. Starliner spaceship docked with the International Space Station (ISS), Roscosmos head Yury Borisov said at the Terra Scientia forum on Friday.

"American colleagues are having trouble with the Starliner spaceship, they do not know how to land their crew, so we are in constant dialogue," Borisov said.

Starliner operated by astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams began its inaugural test flight on June 5. The mission was supposed to last for around a week. However, engine problems and a helium leak from the ship's service module were recorded during the flight. The return to the Earth was delayed to test the ship's systems.
