Kazakh president confident long-term cooperation with India will deepen further

ASTANA. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has extended Independence Day greetings to Indian President Droupadi Murmu, the Kazakh leader's press service said on Thursday.

Noting India's considerable economic progress and global role in promoting peace and sustainable development, Tokayev said he is confident that the two countries' long-time cooperation based on friendship and mutual support will continue to advance, it said.

Tokayev also wished Murmu success in all new beginnings and wished the friendly Indian people prosperity and best wishes.
