Over 230,000 Ukrainians arrive in Belarus since Feb 24, 2022
MINSK. Aug 16 (Interfax) - More than 230,000 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since the start of the special military operation, the Belarusian State Border Committee said on Friday.
"A total of 232,275 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in the Republic of Belarus from the Ukrainian territory since February 24, 2022, including 15,953 who crossed the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 165,802 who transited Poland, 44,717 via Lithuania, and 5,803 via Latvia," the committee said.
As many as 85,783 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since the beginning of this year, among them 35 from Ukrainian territory, 68,014 via Poland, 16, 467 via Lithuania, and 1,267 via Latvia, it said.
