Ninety Russians may compete at Paris Paralympic Games - committee
MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has allowed 98 athletes to compete as neutrals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, the IPC press service told Interfax on Wednesday.
"In all, 98 neutral Paralympic athletes, 90 from Russia and eight from Belarus, have been cleared to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games," it said.
As reported earlier, 92 Russian Paralympic Committee athletes applied to compete at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris. Forty-six of them won medals at previous Paralympic Games. However, a final decision on their participation will be made later.
