Ukraine supplies flour to Gaza

MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - The first 1,000 tonnes of flour provided by Ukraine to Palestine as humanitarian aid have been supplied to the Gaza Strip, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service.

"Bread has already been baked and distributed to needy families from the 1,000 tonnes of flour that Ukraine shipped as part of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program supported by the World Food Program. This is enough to feed 100,000 people for a month," the ministry said.

Ukraine plans to deliver another 6,000 tonnes to Palestine in the near future, it added.
