Ukraine adopts National Renewable Energy Action Plan for period until 2030

MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved the National Renewable Energy Action Plan for the period until 2030 and a plan for its implementation, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"The document clearly correlates to European norms and standards. It aims to increase the share of green energy in the gross final consumption to 27% by 2030," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying at a government meeting on Tuesday.

The plan envisages 38 measures, sets performance indicators, and designates officials responsible for its implementation, Shmygal said.
