Aeroflot Group passenger traffic growth slows to 14.7% in July
MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - Aeroflot Group carried 5.8 million passengers in July, 14.7% more than in the same month last year, the company said.
Passenger traffic rose 11.6% to 4.7 million on domestic flights and 29.1% to almost 1.2 million on international flights.
Total passenger turnover grew by 16.8% and available seat kilometers increased by 14.3%. The seat occupancy rate rose by 1.9 percentage points to 92.5%, including 93.7% on domestic flights and 89.8% on international flights.
Flagship airline Aeroflot carried 3.2 million passengers, 15.3% more than a year earlier, and its passenger turnover grew by 21.9%.
The group's passenger traffic growth in July slowed from 19.9% in June, 22.3% in May, 21.7% in April, 21.2% in March, 23.2% in February and 20.9% in January.
The group expects to carry about 53 million passengers this year, compared to 47.3 million in 2023.
