Ukrnafta to buy 16 gas generators for $38 mln
MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - Ukrnafta, Ukraine's largest oil producer, has announced 16 tenders to buy gas generator sets with combined capacity of 76.4 MW, Ukrainian media reported, citing the company's website.
The company said these "are cutting-edge machines with automatic control and remote monitoring systems."
"The successful bidder will conduct the installation, supervision, commissioning, testing, start-up, and training of personnel," Ukrnafta said.
The total anticipated cost of the purchases with delivery by December 31, 2025 is UAH 1.576 billion before VAT ($38.3 million at current exchange rate). The tenders are scheduled for August 26-27.
The company wants to buy two generating sets with capacity of 1-1.3 MW; one 1.6-2.1 MW set; two 1.95-2.5 MW sets; three 2.4-3.1 MW sets; one 2.94-3.7 MW set ; three 3.9-4.5 MW sets; one 4.4-5.2 MW set; one 5.85-6.8 MW set; and two 12-14.1 MW sets. The generators must have an electrical efficiency rating of at least 42%.
Ukrnafta called a tender in July to buy three gas cogeneration plants with combined capacity of up to 80 MW (two 27-30 MW sets and one 18-20 MW set), with installation and start-up by December 31, 2025.
Ukrnafta also operates a national chain of filling stations. The company's principal shareholder is state oil and gas group Naftogaz Ukraine with 50% plus one share.
The official exchange rate was UAH 41.12/$1 on August 12.
