JYSK opens its 3rd store in Ukraine's Ivano-Frankovsk

MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - The Danish furniture and home furnishings retailer chain JYSK opened a new store in Ivano-Frankovsk on Thursday, Ukrainian media reported, citing the retailer's press service.

"The store is located on the basement floor next door and is equipped with alternative power sources," JYSK Country Director in Ukraine Yevgeny Ivanitsa said.

The retail outlet implements the modern JYSK 3.0 concept, its retail area is 1,038 square meters, warehouse area is 388 square meters, and 40.85 square meters is allocated for office space.

This is the third JYSK store in Ivano-Frankovsk and the 98th in Ukraine. The retail chain plans to open eight new stores and renovate 12 existing ones in fiscal year 2025, which will begin in September. JYSK has over 800 employees in Ukraine.

JYSK is part of the family Lars Larsen Group with over 3,400 stores in 48 countries. JYSK's revenue totalled 5.2 billion euros in the 2022-2023 financial year.
