Ukrenergo not planning power supply restrictions on Wednesday

MOSCOW. Aug 7 (Interfax) - Regional power operators in Ukraine are not planning to apply hour-by-hour outage schedules on Wednesday, August 7, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the national power grid operator Ukrenergo's statement on its social account.

As reported, no outage schedules have been applied in Ukraine since July 30 as two nuclear power generating units have resumed operations following scheduled maintenance and the heat has subsided.

As of the morning of August 7, power supply was cut fully or partially for various reasons to 495 populated areas across Ukraine, Ukrenergo said.
