Russian tax revenues grow 31% to 26.9 trln rubles in H1 - FTS

MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - The Russian budget system's tax revenues rose 31% to 26.9 trillion rubles in the first half of 2024, the head of the Federal Tax Service, Daniil Yegorov said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"If we're talking about overall [tax] revenues into the budget system, it's almost 27 trillion rubles, or 26.9 trillion rubles to be precise. We have growth of 31%, which is 6.4 trillion rubles in absolute figures," Yegorov said.

Consolidated budget tax revenues grew by 28.4% or 4.6 trillion rubles, he said.

"Our oil and gas revenues, which basically affect what kind of revenues we see for the federal budget, are doing really well, of course. Growth there is 43.4%, plus 3.7 trillion rubles," Yegorov said. Growth for the consolidated budgets of Russia's regions amounted to 11.7%, he said.

Personal income tax and value-added tax revenues increased by 34% and 23%, respectively.

"Data for the first half show fairly good trends in the economy...For the end of the year we're also forecasting fulfilment of the budget, we don't see any significant problems here," Yegorov said.
