Kazakhstan's Samruk-Kazyna ups revenue 10.5% in H1

ASTANA. Aug 5 (Interfax) - National Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna had sales revenue of 7.9 trillion tenge in H1 2024, CEO Nurlan Zhakupov said in a meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the presidential press office said.

This is 10.5% above the 7.147 trillion tenge that Samruk-Kazyna posted for H1 2023.

Zhakupov also said that the Fund's key production indicators were on target. Samruk-Kazyna's investment portfolio includes over 130 projects totaling 53.5 trillion tenge.

The Fund anticipates that major projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, logistics, and mining sectors will generate significant economic benefits for the country.

Established in 2008, JSC National Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna manages several major strategic companies in Kazakhstan, including Air Astana, Kazakhtelecom, Kazatomprom, KazMunayGas, Kazpost, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, KEGOC, and others.

Consolidated revenue for 2023 was 15.434 billion tenge.
