Poland closes checkpoint at border with Ukraine

MOSCOW. Aug 5 (Interfax) - Poland closes a border checkpoint adjacent to Ukraine's Yagodin on Monday, August 5, for an overhaul, Ukrainian media said, citing Poland's RMF24.

"Repairs of the surface at the Dorohusk checkpoint will create significant impediments to traffic, the Nadbuzanka branch of the Border Service said," the report said.

As reported, Polish border guards warned about the overhaul pending near the Ukrainian Yagodin checkpoint between August 5 and November 14, 2024.
