Ukraine terminates agreement with Russia, Belarus on cooperation in government communications
MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - The cabinet of ministers of Ukraine terminated the intergovernmental agreements with Russia and Belarus on cooperation in government communications at a meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said with a reference to the government's envoy to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
In particular, the agreement on cooperation in government communications signed between the Ukrainian cabinet of ministers and the government of the Russian Federation in Moscow on February 27, 1998 was terminated.
The agreement on cooperation in government communications signed between the Ukrainian cabinet of ministers and the government of Belarus in Minsk on February 6, 1998 was also terminated.
Additionally, the intention to withdraw from the protocol introducing amendments to the agreement on the development of exhibition and fair activities in the Commonwealth of Independent States of May 26, 1995 signed in Moscow on May 23, 2008 was expressed.
