Russian cosmonaut Peskov to go to ISS by Crew Dragon spaceship in 2025 - NASA

WASHINGTON. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov has been designated a crewmember of the U.S. Crew Dragon spaceship to bring SpaceX Crew 10 to the International Space Station (ISS) no earlier than in February 2025, NASA said.

The crew will also include NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Takuya Onishi.

This would be the first space flight of Peskov.

NASA said that the mission was due no earlier than in February 2025.

In July 2022, Roscosmos and NASA signed an agreement on cross flights of three Russian cosmonauts by U.S. Crew Dragon spaceships and three U.S. astronauts by Russian Soyuz MS spaceships in 2022-2024 as part of the ISS program.

Roscosmos said in December 2023 that the agreement with NASA had been extended until 2025. Roscosmos Executive Director for Manned Space Programs Sergei Krikalev told Interfax that the supplementary agreement envisaged two more cross flights to the ISS before 2025.
