Naftogaz appoints Malyutin Ukrtransgaz director
MOSCOW. Aug 1 (Interfax) - Naftogaz of Ukraine, the sole shareholder of the Ukrainian underground gas storage system operator, has appointed Roman Malyutin general director of JSC Ukrtransgaz, Ukrainian media said, citing the Ukrtransgaz website.
The three-year contract with Malyutin took effect on July 31, 2024, the media said.
As reported, Malyutin was appointed acting general director of Ukrtransgaz in Sergei Pereloma's stead in January 2023.
Malyutin rose from an operator and engineer at the Kegichevskoye underground gas storage facility to deputy chief engineer of the eastern region of the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator. Before his appointment as acting head of Ukrtransgaz, he headed the company's technical department, supervised the operation of compressor stations, energy and metrology, and supported projects for the development of low-carbon technologies and the storage of hydrogen mixtures.
