Hotel occupancy rate in Kiev on rise - Hotel Matrix
MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - The occupancy rate of Kiev hotels in January-June 2024 reached 38% against 22% year-on-year, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Hotel Matrix hotel analytics project's press service.
The Average Daily Rate (ADR) for the mentioned reporting period stood at UAH 2,764. At the same time, the Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) reached UAH 1,050 in H1, which is up 50% year-on-year.
Hotel Matrix analysts said that the highest demand at the capital's hotels is seen on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and since April on Fridays and Saturdays, as well. The lowest load is observed on Sundays, while ADR on this day is the highest at UAH 2,901.
At the same time, the booking window is gradually increasing, the statement said.
Hotel Matrix is an online hotel analytics product, which specialists from Poland and Ukraine are working on. It was launched in May 2020. Currently, 200 hotels are connected to Hotel Matrix.
