Central Bank of Armenia lowers refi rate 25 bps to 7.75%

YEREVAN. July 30 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Armenia has decided to lower the refinancing rate 25 basis points to 7.75% per annum, the regulator said in a statement.

The rate had been 8% since June 11, when it was lowered from 8.25%.

The rate was lowered on five occasions in 2023 and has been lowered five times so far this year.
