Agro producer prices in EAEU have declined 2.3% since start of year - EEC

MINSK. July 29 (Interfax) - Agricultural producer prices in the Eurasian Economic Union have declined 2.3% since the beginning of the year, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission said on Monday.

"The agricultural producer price index in the EAEU totaled 99.2% in June 2024 compared to May 2024, and 97.7% compared to December 2023," the EEC said.

EEC data also indicate that agricultural producer prices in the EAEU countries increased 8.9% year-on-year in June 2024.

"Producer prices for crop products decreased 3.3% and livestock products declined 2.1% in June 2024 compared to December 2023," the EEC said.
