Delimobil expands car fleet by 36% in H1, sold minutes up by 31%
MOSCOW. July 25 (Interfax) - PJSC Carsharing Russia, which provides carsharing services under the Delimobil brand, expanded its fleet by 36% to 29,580 cars in the first half of 2024, the company said in a press release, adding that the number topped 30,000 in July.
The company's sold minutes grew by 31% year-on-year to 907 million. The growth was driven by the expansion of the car fleet, entry into new cities such as Ufa and Sochi, and the growing popularity of carsharing in Russia, the company said.
The company had 10.4 million registered users at the end of the first half, 17% more than a year earlier. The number of monthly active users, meaning customers who made at least one trip a month, grew by 19% year-on-year to 566,000.
Delimobil launched its service in 2015 and now operates in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Togliatti, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Tula, Kazan, Rostov, Sochi and Ufa.
Carsharing Russia carried out an initial public offering on the Moscow Exchange in early February.
