Russian, Indonesian FMs holding talks

VIENTIANE. July 25 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Laos.

Lavrov and Marsudi are expected to sign a plan of consultations between the two countries' Foreign Ministries upon completion of their talks.

Before the start of the talks, Marsudi greeted Lavrov in the corridor in front of the room hosting their meeting. She also commented on the brooch worn by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

"I like your brooch. Send me one, please," Marsudi said, addressing Lavrov.

"In accordance with the Russian tradition, if a person likes something, we immediately give this thing as a present," Lavrov said.
