Ribas Hotels Group opens All-Ukrainian Hospitality School with USAID's support
MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - Hotel operator Ribas Hotels Group will launch an All-Ukrainian School of Hospitality with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)'s support for free training and employment of workers in the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants and cafes) sector.
"This is a nationwide program that will create employment opportunities for HoReCa workers and the unemployed in Ukraine through training and retraining," Ukrainian media quoted the Ribas Hotels Group press service as saying.
The project envisages opening of two centers for internship of students in Odessa and Bukovel. The training will last 10 months and will result in employing over 300 people in the HoReCa sector. The registration for joining in the program will open on August 1.
The project is supported by USAID as part of the Ukraine's Competitive Economy Program.
Ribas Hotels Group is an international management company established in Odessa in 2014, whose flagship service is operational management of hotels and restaurants. The company also provides concept development, design, support of all stages of project implementation, consulting and franchising services for developers.
The company has 28 city, seaside and ski resort hotels under the Ribas, Ribas Hotels, Ribas Rooms, WOL home + hotel and Mandra Glamping brands under its integrated management and exclusive booking. The operator has more than 1,000 rooms in total. In total, the portfolio includes 55 projects, including projects under design and construction.
The company is currently developing projects in Poland, Moldova and Indonesia.
