Rosneft expands EV charging network to 78 stations

MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - Rosneft expanded its electric vehicle charging network by 23 or 42% to 78 stations in 2023, the Russian oil company said in its sustainability report.

Geographically, the company's charging network expanded to Kemerovo and Tula regions, and it now has charging stations operating in 10 regions of Russia.

Rosneft also expanded its compressed natural gas (CNG) infrastructure by 19% in 2023, to 25 stations in 11 regions. The company received permits to open four such stations last year, in Penza, Samara and Ulyanovsk regions and in Krasnodar Territory.

Rosneft plans to secure permits to open another 10 CNG fuelling stations in 2024.
