Pea prices at Ukrainian ports up almost 20% since start of summer - analytics agency
MOSCOW. July 22 (Interfax) - Prices for peas at Ukrainian ports have surged since the beginning of summer, Ukrainian media reported, citing information and analytics agency APK-Inform.
The maximum demand price was UAH14,200 per tonne CPT-port on July 19, UAH2,300 higher than at the beginning of the summer, the agency said. The price has therefore risen almost 20% in six weeks.
"Demand prices for peas at Ukrainian ports have been increasing since the beginning of the summer, which is due to strong demand from exporters," the agency said.
