Russian pipeline gas supplies hit new summer record 700.4 mcm - Gazprom
MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - Daily gas supplies from Russia's Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS) hit a new summer record of 700.4 million cubic meters on July 17, gas giant Gazprom said.
The company has regularly been supplying Russians with record volumes of gas this summer. Daily records for June and July were broken 12 times, including the July 17 high.
"Crucially, elevated consumer demand for gas in the summer season is being met while the usual scheduled maintenance is carried out at UGSS facilities and gas is being pumped into Russian underground storage facilities," Gazprom said.
